Clothing Grades
Grade 1 (Best “Used” Condition)
This item is used but in good serviceable condition with light signs of previous use. It has been laundered and inspected and is fully functional.
Description:
- Previously issued, lightly worn surplus item.
- Minor cosmetic wear only — such as light fading, small surface marks or creases from regular use.
- Fully functional with no major damage affecting performance or use.
- May have small markings, but remains serviceable and wearable.
- Great choice for everyday use where appearance is less critical than function.
GRADE 2
This item has been laundered and inspected and is still serviceable but noticeably more worn than Grade 1. It show clear signs of use and wear but remains functional.
Description:
- More used surplus item with more pronounced wear.
- Visible fading, scuffs, stitched insignia/name tags, surface marks or wear spots throughout.
- Functional parts are intact, but piece may need TLC before regular use.
